These terms supplement Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which governs your license to use the app, and our Privacy Policy. This page covers the terms specific to Vermilion's service.
You must be 18 years of age or older to use Vermilion. By using the app, you represent that you are at least 18.
If you are in the European Economic Area, Switzerland, or the United Kingdom, the free tier is not available to you. Use of Vermilion in those regions requires a paid subscription.
Vermilion is an iOS app that lets you have voice conversations with an AI assistant powered by Google Gemini. Responses may be accompanied by visual content such as charts, maps, and weather information.
On the free tier, Google may use your conversations to train and improve their AI models. On the paid tier, Google does not use your conversations to train AI models. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Vermilion offers an optional paid subscription. Subscriptions are sold through the App Store and billed to your Apple Account. Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription in the App Store settings on your device. Prices and billing periods are shown in the app before you purchase.
You agree not to use Vermilion to generate content prohibited by Google's Generative AI Prohibited Use Policy.
Responses are generated by AI and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. Do not rely on them as a substitute for professional advice (medical, legal, financial, or otherwise).
Vermilion is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that responses will be accurate.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Vermilion developers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data or profits arising from your use of or inability to use the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
These terms may be updated from time to time. When they change, the "Last updated" date above will be revised. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
